While definitely not as flexible as the Bionic gloves (which I LOVE, but thorns do penetrate unfortunately), these really seem to provide excellent protection against thorns and pokes. Perhaps they’ll ease up a bit with use. But excellent value for money — the gauntlet will certainly protect the lower arm — and, as a consulting rosarian, I would certainly recommend these! BTW, size run true to form — I take a Large in the Bionic glove, the Medium with this one fits just fine.

these gloves are great. my wife has tried many different gloves for working in our gardens and these are her favorite. we will purchase these again in the future!

I am on line buying another pair befor the first pair wears out! I absolutely love these gloves! Not only are they great for rose trimming but they are also great for azaleas as they irritate your skin. Any pruning that requires reaching into bug and spider infested plants… I am totally fearless! I can work all day without getting the heebie geebies! Did I say I love these gloves? (wouldnt mind if they came on sale though!)
