Chanel #5 By Chanel For Women, Eau De Parfum Spray, 3.4-Ounce Bottle

This perfume was just for gift to my gf’s friend. And her feedback was “it smelled sux.” But she said thanks to me anyway. Not only her wasn’t satisfied with the product, all of her crew include my gf didn’t like its smell. So I think overall it sux.

I’m very confused by this product. I’m no educated man, but even I know that Chanel No. 5 is one high class smell that lady-folk enjoy. Personally I like the smell of dirt and sweat, but to each his own.
Why am I confused by this product? Let me lay it out for you:
1. “Chanel for women”. Is there a Chanel No. 5 for men? Since when do men wear lady smell? That doesn’t even make sense. If I want to smell more manly then I’m going to coat myself with BRUT, not lady smell.
2. Eau de. What the h*ll does that mean?
3. Why is the “o” in No. so high up on the bottle? Is that like an exponent? I thought N^0 = 1, not 5….
4. Toilet spray? So all this time I’ve been paying hundreds of dollars for something I could get out of my crapper? Seriously? Is this true?!?!
I feel ripped off. For those who are curious, the reason I gave this product 3 stars is because the process involved in turning toilet water into Chanel No 5 must be pretty impressive. Judging from what I’ve put in the toilet, their process must be akin to magic.

The perfume came in a box that was very wet and saturated with that perfume; the bottle was about 2/3 full, and when I wrote the seller asking how to exchange the perfume for a complete bottle, the seller didn’t even respond to me.

It’s a bit to old but very ladylike. I am in my mid 20′s but still feel like a teenager so I didn’t feel I was adult enough but give it a try, maybe when I’m older.

When my wife received my order, the product did not smell like Chanel #5 at all (She has been wearing this scent for 40 years). The celephane packaging around the box was in tact, but you could see that there was moisture inside the celephane layer. The cardboard box was soaked, but it did not smell like Chanel #5 at all. The company I purchased it from did work with me to refund my money, but I will never purchase perfume on line again.
